Get VoIP - Interact In Your Advertising
The Web2.0 concept or interactive advertising is here and all internet marketers and for that matter any business that has a website, needs to keep up with this trend.
Putting a VoIp application on your website or at least having a link to a live web conference room - or ‘live support’ as it can be known, can make all the difference in the world as to whether your sales page converts prospects to customers.
There may be some piece of information your prospect doesn’t find that is a critical element to them deciding to take action - by the time they run around in circles - send an email and wait for a response, make a phone call and wait for a call back - a million things can happen in their lives to either put the idea on hold or even forget about it. Worse, next time they think about it they can’t find your site, but can find your competitor.
So you need to strike while the iron is hot! Get them while their attention is focused on your site. You can give information in the usual text, graphics, etc., but there is always going to be someone who doesn’t quite understand, or can’t find some detail that they need to know before making a decision.
Most interactive sites also would have a video and/or audio presentation that may spell out the same information in a different way. Again, though it may not answer all their questions.
There are even forums on sales pages, but to my mind this leaves a lot to be desired in the instant gratification area - post a question, keep checking back for an answer? I don’t think so…
