In regards to the information given regarding blogging and forums. I am new to blogging and forums so by you giving me this information as to spelling things correctly and not using things like shortcuts way to spelling something like a text message you want to build a trust between yourself and your customer by always keeping your blog or forum professional with your grammar and spellchecking skills. I sure can use all the advice I can get from someone who has the experience.

Great information Pat. You hit on one of my “Pet Peeves” and that is “text lingo”. My wife asks me why I do not answer her emails and I tell her I only know the English language.

It takes a lot of guts to write anything about the importance of spelling and grammar because of the risk of making a spelling mistake while advocating the importance of not doing so:) I’ve done a couple of articles about this and got so anxious about spellchecking and proofreading. It’s not a topic I can handle writing about often. You seem to have nailed it though!

Most people it seems try to link to their web site in their signature file, but they don’t think of linking to their blog.

Of course, a blog needs lots of quality back links as well.
